Vidyut 2020 at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham From January 30

KOCHI:
Vidyut, started in 2012, is the national level inter-collegiate multifest organized by the students of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and Vidyut 2020 will be held from 30 January to 1 February at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, Kollam.

Vidyut will host workshops covering the areas of science and technology, arts and culture, environment care
and economics. Industry leaders from technology, arts and other various fields will partake in the fest.

Vidyut stands out in its exclusivity of including technology, arts, culture and sports events, facilitating the participation of over 10,000 college students, making it one of the largest fests in India. The world renowned EDM band NUCLEYA and the famous Indian Carnatic rock band AGAM will perform for Vidyut. The mentalist Arjun Guru will entice the audience with his cutting-edge magic and a non-thematic dance competition will also be held as a part of this mega event.

Vidyut facilitates a forum for young minds, inspiring them to contribute creatively to integrate knowledge and talent. 25+ workshops accredited by ACM, IEEE, IEI, Project Management Institute, Pune Film Institute etc. and 35+ competitions with prizes worth 15 lakhs will be held as part of this event. SPECTRA- School Exhibition, AD ASTRA- College Expo, Auto Expo, Life Sciences Expo, Amrita Village Expo, Vidyut Sports Carnival etc. are other highlights of the multifest.

Vidyut aims to turn the world into a better, inclusive and harmonious place for all living beings, because the future depends on this integration. Saving our planet starts with the willingness to do something to change the world, even if just in a tiny way. Vidyut 2020 is a call for action; to be an impulse to redefine our values and dispel the darkness that shrouds the earth; to realize that now is the time to make a difference.

Vidyut 2020 aims to offer a strategic way to help the ailing World, and thus the theme ‘HEAL THE WORLD’. In spite of the economic and technological progress, humanity is badly in need of healing, and young minds, which are the future of the world, are better poised to offer solutions to heal humanity. Vidyut, where the youth converge every year, provides an open forum for the exchange of ideas to make the world a better place, where every living being can enjoy coexistence in peaceful harmony. This holistic future needs the convergence of thinking in science, technology, humanities, arts, management etc.
