Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister and a senior BJP politician, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to realizing Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Speaking at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GCCI) in Ahmedabad during an engagement session on Viksit Bharat @2047, Ms. Sitharaman emphasized India’s economic development while highlighting historical difficulties including double-digit inflation.
She also discussed Gujarat’s success in textiles, chemicals, electronics, and aerospace, as well as its critical role in luring investments.
