New Delhi: By passing 75,000 approvals of the National Single Window System, or NSWS Portal, for various Central, State, and UT clearances today reached a new milestone. Since its launch, the service has had 420 000 unique visits from 157 different nations. More than 1.5 million investors have utilised NSWS’s KYA (Know Your Approvals) Module to determine the approvals they need for their individual business cases. Out of the more than one lakh 23 thousand applications received, a total of 75 thousand 599 clearances have been given.
Out of these, the Commerce Ministry has approved more than 57 thousand approvals. Over 17,000 approvals have been given by the Consumer Affairs Ministry.
NSWS is removing duplication of effort by offering a single interface to apply for all G2B clearances from numerous Ministries and Departments.
