Navaratri: KSRTC provides temple tour packages.

Mangaluru: Ten temples in and around Mangaluru city will be included in a daily temple tour package launched by the KSRTC, Mangaluru division. This bundle will be offered until October 5, when these temples will celebrate Navaratri.Every day at 8 a.m., the KSRTC will operate a bus from the Mangaluru KSRTC Bus Stand. The journey will begin with a stop at the Mangaladevi Temple. Polali Rajarajeshwari Temple, Sunkadakatte Ambika Annapoorneshwari Temple, Kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple, Bappanadu Durgaparameshwari Temple, Sasihitlu Sri Bhagawati Temple and adjacent seashore, Chitrapura Durgaparameshwari Temple, and Urwa Marigudi Temple will all be visited after it.

The final stop would be at Gokarnanatha Temple, where Mangaluru Dasara is organised, around 7 o’clock in the evening. At 8.30 p.m., the bus will arrive back at the bus stop. The adult cost has been set at 300 rs, while the kid fare is 250 rs. The trip will be made on the green city bus operated by KSRTC.Rajesh Shetty, the KSRTC Mangaluru Divisional Controller, stated that this was the division’s first Navaratri tour to well-known temples.

According to Mr. Shetty, enough time has been set for for the visits to all temples.  Mr. Shetty one hour has been set aside for darshan at the three temples in Polali, Kateel, and Kudroli where there would be a higher volume of visitors. He also mentioned that all ten of the temples will offer special darshan to visitors. A KSRTC employee will be assigned as a guide to assist passengers.
