New Delhi: The Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis, and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met in New Delhi to discuss bilateral economic and financial topics of shared interest. They also discussed the ongoing discussions for the India-EU Free Trade Agreement and Investment Protection Agreement.

The United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Kemi Badenoch, and Ms. Sitharaman met in New Delhi and spoke about bilateral trade and investment topics of mutual interest, according to a post on social media from the Ministry of Finance. They had a brief discussion during their meeting and reaffirmed their commitments to working quickly to conclude the talks on the bilateral investment treaty and the free trade agreement between India and the UK.
