New Delhi will play host to the second iteration of the Naval Commanders’ Conference in 2022.

New Delhi: New Delhi marks the start of the second iteration of the Naval Commanders’ Conference of 2022. Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, will speak to and engage with the naval commanders during the conference on topics related to national security. The Indian Army and Air Force Chiefs as well as Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan would communicate with the Naval Commanders.

The Chief of the Naval Staff will examine significant operational, material, logistical, human resource development, training, and administrative actions carried out by the Indian Navy over the past several months during the meeting along with other naval commanders.

They will continue to discuss future strategies for significant projects and activities. The dynamics of the region’s geostrategic situation and the Navy’s readiness to deal with it will also be discussed during the conference.
