  • 5. QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in engineering with professional certifications/ accreditations
  • Experience in various power system studies (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor starting, Transient stability study, Small signal stability study, FACTS studies, HVDC studies, Insulation coordination studies, TRV study, Ferro resonance study, ARC Flash study, VAR compensation studies, Relay setting and coordination study etc.).

  • Minimum Experience:
  • 16+ Years
  • Generic Skills:
  • Technical paper presentation in power system study conferences.
  • Perform Technical trainings.
  • Be familiar with gird codes and international/national standards in power system studies.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Power systems study software (PSSE, ETAP, PSCAD, EMTP-RV, ROWPRO etc.).
  • Be a creative leader in project management. Have excellent technical skills and be able to mentor staff in their own development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in presentation and documentation with a good command over English. Acquaintance to Arabic would be an advantage.
