New Delhi: The G20 Presidency will be held by India starting on December 1, 2022, for a year. Government sources informed India today that the country will organise more than 200 events scattered across major cities, including Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, etc., as part of the summit as it intensifies its preparations to host it in 2023.

On November 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the 2023 G20 summit’s theme, logo, and website. The next summit will be the most significant foreign event that India has ever held.

The main summit is anticipated to take place in Delhi in October and November of 2023, according to official sources. The 20 permanent G20 members, additional invitees, and perhaps 10 to 12 international organisations will all be on the list of attendees. These organisations include the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations (UN), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), etc.
