New Delhi: The nation’s first smart lab was launched by the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) New Delhi in its OPD block to offer testing facilities under one roof. Haematology, biochemistry, coagulation, serology, endocrinology, and several immunoassays are among the many laboratory testing services provided by this flawlessly integrated facility.
Dr. Sudip Kumar Datta, an additional professor of laboratory medicine at AIIMS Delhi, stated that the AIIMS smart lab receives a 90% result the same day the sample is received. He continued by saying that this project is at the forefront of technology development and operates as a totally paperless establishment.
