New Delhi:

The goal of the month-long programme “Kashi Tamil Sangamam,” which the Ministry of Education will launch on the 16th of next month, is to rediscover the centuries-old connection between Varanasi and Tamilnadu in terms of knowledge and ancient civilizations.

In a press conference about the programme held in New Delhi, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that over 2400 Tamils from 12 different groups, representing various facets of society, including academia, spirituality, philosophy, trade and commerce, agriculture, entrepreneurship, the arts, and artisanship, will travel to Kashi for eight days to become familiar with the ancient knowledge that these two ancient cities share.

They will travel by rail from Rameshwaram, Chennai, and Coimbatore, he claimed. According to Mr. Prdhan, the curriculum will include lectures, seminars, and discussions. Mr. Pradhan also unveiled a website for this event’s month-long registration procedure at this time.
