Ayushman cards totaling more than 1.64 crore were handed nationwide at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

Over one crore 64 lakh Ayushman cards have been handed nationwide by the government as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Ayushman cards provide five lakh rupees in health coverage annually for each family. On November 15, 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Khunti, Jharkhand.

The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana provided clean cooking fuel to almost nine lakh individuals, according to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. Under the Prime Minister Street Vendor’s Atma Nirbhar Nidhi, the Ministry said that around 6.79 lakh street sellers received working capital loans. By this month’s 25th, more than 200,000 Gramme Panchayats nationwide are expected to be covered by the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. It also seeks to increase public knowledge of the various government-sponsored social programmes by means of outreach initiatives.
