Bengaluru : By February of next year, the railway yard at Bengaluru Cantt is expected to be completely renovated. At a cost of 480 crore rupees, the station building will be renovated as part of the second phase, transforming Bengaluru Cantt into an international airport-style terminal.

It will have features similar to those seen at airports, including full air conditioning, segregated arrival and departure points, clearly marked pick-up and drop-off zones, multi-level parking, and a roof plaza with area designated for commercial activity.

The new building’s architecture will embody Bengaluru’s essence by fusing the city’s character as a garden city with that of being India’s Silicon Valley.
