Canada: Bhupender Yadav, the minister of the environment, forests, and climate change, has underlined the need for sustainable resource usage. The requirement of the hour, according to him, is conscious and purposeful resource use as opposed to thoughtless and harmful consumption.

At the United Nations Biodiversity Conference COP15 in Montreal, Canada, he was presenting the nation’s speech. He emphasised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong demand for LiFE – Lifestyle for Environment adoption, saying that the nation’s implementation of the Aichi objectives has a proactive and forward-looking balance sheet. According to Mr. Yadav, the nation is on course to fulfil its promises.

For hundreds of millions of people in the nation, he claimed, agriculture is the source of their food, income, and culture. According to him, the country’s forest and tree cover is rapidly increasing, and so is the number of animals.
