Elections for a new legislature will take place in Himachal Pradesh on November 12.

Himachal Pradesh: Himachal Pradesh will have a single-phase election on December 12 with the counting taking place on same day. The 68-member state assembly will be notified on October 17th, and nominations must be submitted by October 25th in order to be considered.
Election results have brought into effect the Model Code of Conduct. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar briefed the media in New Delhi on the election timetable. He claimed that in Himachal Pradesh, more than 55 lakh individuals are entitled to vote.
To improve voting through increased awareness, the Commission will determine the polling location with the lowest percentage of voters in each constituency. He also mentioned that some voting places would be run totally by Divyang employees. Additionally, candidates and political parties will have access to ECI’s Suvidha Portal’s online nomination and affidavit capabilities. Through this platform, applicants can also request permissions for gatherings and meetings.
The CEC urged voters to value their fought-for right to vote and cast as many ballots as possible. According to Mr. Rajiv Kumar, the Commission is dedicated to ensuring that the Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh are free, fair, and devoid of coercion. According to him, the Commission has zero tolerance for any form of inducement and has energised its entire apparatus to stop it.
