In an effort to maximize customer convenience and handle the summertime travel demand spike, Indian Railways is running a record-breaking nine thousand eleven trips. In comparison, there were 6,369 excursions available during the summer of previous year, a significant increase. This indicates Indian Railways’s determination to efficiently satisfy passenger demand—it amounts to a two thousand 742 trip increase.

According to the Ministry of Railways, extra trains have been painstakingly scheduled to link important locations around the nation, guaranteeing smooth transit on important rail lines. In order to accommodate the summer travel rush from states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi, all of India’s zonal railways have prepared to run these extra trips.

Zonal Railways have been directed to make sure that drinking water is available at railway stations throughout the summer. All big and significant railway stations have sophisticated systems in place to manage crowding. At these stations, senior officials are positioned to keep an eye on every activity and manage the throng in an organized fashion.
