UPSRTC buses won’t run on routes hit by fog at night until January 15

Uttar Pradesh: The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) won’t run buses on routes affected by fog between 8 PM and 8 AM until January 15. The increase in incidents involving fog is what prompted the decision.

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation developed this concept as a result of several incidents that have happened recently around the state.

The UPSRTC ordered its regional and assistant regional managers to set up camp at the bus stops from 8 PM to 12 PM so they could monitor the weather. The buses will be parked at the bus terminal or the closest gas station and toll booth in the event of decreased visibility. The buses won’t start travelling again until the visibility gets better. Additionally, online ticket purchasing has been suspended for one month.
