Union Minister Nitin Gadkari dedicates and lays foundation on 11 highway projects in Rajasthan

Pratapgarh: Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Roads, Transport, and Highways, officially opened and set the cornerstone for 11 highway projects totaling 5,600 crore rupees during a ceremony held in Pratapgarh. Four projects totaling more than 3,700 crore rupees in investment were dedicated. He also lay the cornerstone for seven projects totaling roughly 1900 crore rupees at the same occasion.

Speaking on the programme, Mr. Gadkari stated that the Central Government is making every effort to build the nation’s roads and highways. On this occasion, Mr. Gadkari announced the construction of a ring road in Jodhpur at a cost of two thousand crore rupees and a greenfield bypass in the city of Udaipur at a cost of one thousand crore rupees. The remaining portion of the Jaipur Ring Road will be completed, he said, and work will shortly begin. In Sariska, he also disclosed plans to build an elevated road.
