New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will use video conferencing to start off the Vande Bharat Express train that runs between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam on Sunday at 10:30 AM. The train, which would be the first to link the two Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, will be the eighth Vande Bharat Express to be inaugurated by Indian Railways. In February 2019, the first Vande Bharat Express train between New Delhi and Varanasi was flagged off.

The Vande Bharat train set, which was designed locally, has modern passenger amenities and will offer rail travellers a faster, more comfortable, and more convenient travel experience. According to an AIR journalist, Vande Bharat Express is outfitted with cutting-edge, modern safety systems, including the locally created KAVACH train collision avoidance system.

Vande Bharat trains have developed a new reputation for quickness, effectiveness, and practicality. This train’s unique feature is its ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in about 52 seconds. The maximum speed at which this train can go is 180 km/h.
