According to Mr. Puri, the government is promoting the usage of clean fuels like compressed natural gas (CNG), in response to supplementary questions during today’s Rajya Sabha Question Hour.

According to him, the domestic fuel prices were 83% lower in April 2023 despite the extremely high global prices due to the Center’s rationalization of the fuel calculation mechanism. The Minister stated that affordability, sustainability, and availability are the main concerns. He declared that the independent CNG conversion process was under way.
