Mulugu: At the Ramappa temple Complex in Telangana’s Mulugu district, President Droupadi Murmu today laid the cornerstone for the reconstruction of the Kameswaralaya Temple. She also laid the cornerstone for the construction of tourism infrastructure at the temple complex as part of the PRASHAD programme of the Union Tourism Ministry.

Prior to this, the President urged the students, many of whom were from tribal areas, to give back to society once they had achieved financial independence. Everyone has a responsibility to advance society, she remarked.

The Sammakka Saralamma Janjati Pujari’s Sammelan in Bhadrachalam in the State and the Eklavya Residential Schools in Asifadad and Mahabubabad districts have both been officially opened by the President.
