Hyderabad: The public will be able to purchase the nasal Covid-19 vaccine, known as iNCOVACC, starting in the fourth week of January, according to Bharat Biotech. The vaccine would cost 325 rupees for governments and 800 rupees for private markets, according to a biotechnology business based in Hyderabad.
The first intranasal Covid vaccine in the world to be approved for both the primary 2-dose schedule and a heterologous booster dose is INCOVACC from Bharat Biotech. For those over 18, a booster dose of the nasal vaccine will be administered. Bharat Biotech and Washington University in the United States collaborated to develop iNCOVACC.
