The first-ever Military Tattoo and Tribal Dance Festival will feature over 12,000 performers as part of the Republic Day celebrations.

New Delhi: As part of the Republic Day celebrations at the National Capital, the first-ever Military Tattoo and Tribal Dance Festival will feature over 1200 performers. The performances will be presented under the Adi- Shaurya: Parv Parakram kain banner on January 23 and 24 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium to commemorate Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 126th birthday. The occasion intends to shed light on Subhash Chandra Bose’s role in the nation’s struggle for independence.

The main event will feature many traditional dance acts, including Gaurr Maria, Gaddi Nati, Siddi Dhamal, Baiga Pardhoni, Purulia, and Bagurumba. Along with performing acts like paramotor gliding, hot air ballooning, horse shows, khukuri dance, gatka, mallakhamb, and martial arts, the Indian Army will also display its expertise.
