The 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention will be held from January 8 to 10 at Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: The 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention will be held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from January 8 to January 10. The Diaspora: Reliable Partners for India’s Progress in Amrit Kaal is the focus of this PBD Convention. The PBD Convention has more than 3,500 registered attendees from approximately 70 different nations.

The PBD Convention will be officially launched on January 9 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The speeches will be given by Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana, who is also the chief guest. Chandrikapersad Santokhi, the president of Suriname, is the Special Guest of Honor.

The first,ever digital PBD Exhibition with the topic “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – Contribution of Diaspora in Indian Freedom Struggle” will also be opened by Mr. Modi. It will emphasise the role that freedom fighters from the diaspora played in India’s independence. Additionally, a special Town Hall will be held in light of India’s current G20 Presidency.
