JD Technical Support Engineer

  • Good Communication Skills
  • Linux/Unix/Windows Operating system.
  • Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL and other databases.
  • Experiences in implementation of DR and BCP solution automation
  • Databases :- Oracle, MySQL, MS-SQL, DB2,PostgresSQL
  • Storage & Replication :- Net App Snap mirror, Hitachi – HUR, EMC – SRDF/ProtectData/RecoveryPoint, IBM – GM/TPC-R, VM – SRM, Etc..
  • Administration of multiple database technologies
  • DR automation planning, Product deployment
  • Operating Systems like Windows (2008/2012 Server Edition),RHEL Linux,AIX
  • Virtualization – VMware/Hyper-V
  • Oracle DB and MSSQL administration which includes Installation, DB creation, Data file creation, Backups and Replication configuration
  • Workflow Configuration for all layers of Infra Structure
  • Certified ITILV1 DR Professional
  • Knowledge in Disaster Recovery Planning such as RPO, RTO & MTPOD

Job Description

  • Support- troubleshooting of technical related problems
  • Analyzes problems(both technical and operational) and arrive at permanent solutions.
  • Take ownership of user problems and follow up for fast resolution on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner.

Desired candidates –

  • Willingness to travel as per requirement.
  • Should be ready to work in night shift as per customer requirement .
  • Ability to work under pressure and 24/7 support model
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
