Successful test firing of the extended-range Brahmos air-launched missile by the Indian Air Force

New Delhi: Using an SU-30MKI aircraft, the Indian Air Force successfully launched an extended-range Brahmos air-launched missile against a ship target today. In the Bay of Bengal region, the missile completed its intended goal. According to our reporter, the IAF now has a significantly increased capacity to launch precise strikes from SU-30MKI aircraft against land and marine targets at extremely long ranges.

The SU-30MKI aircraft’s strong performance and the missile’s extended range capability provide the IAF a strategic reach and the capacity to control upcoming battlegrounds. This feat was made possible by the diligent and collaborative efforts of the IAF, Indian Navy, DRDO, BAPL, and HAL.
