Mumbai: Rajnath Singh, the Union Minister of Defense, stated that the Defense Shipyards are essential to the development of the Indian Navy and Coast Guard. Mr. Singh added, “Defence Shipyards are assuring timely delivery of products, that too with top notch quality,” while speaking to the Consultative Committee Meeting on Defence Shipyards this afternoon in Mumbai. He continued by saying that numerous international countries have recently praised the platforms created by India’s Defense Shipyards.

Mr. Singh hoped that the shipyards will continue to communicate and talk with the Navy and Coast Guard to learn about their needs, noting that they are a shining example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of AtmaNirbhar Bharat. He claimed that in order to maintain the safety and security of India’s maritime boundaries, it is urgent to develop contemporary ships that are completely outfitted with cutting-edge weaponry.
