Software Engineer
Posted On : 06/ 06/ 2013 Create MSI package for workstation using Flexera Install shield 2012; Create package for servers (Windows 2003 (32 Bit 64 Bit) and Windows 2008); Manage deployment to end point with HP OVCM, TPM and Citrix Xen App; Migrate / repackage server specific applications; Create / Sequence virtualization applications using VM Ware Thin App v4.7; Trouble shoot MSI package issue using File Monitor, Reg Monitor, Installrite, etc; Perform Custom Actions using VBScripts i.e. INI File update, ORA file update, etc; Test and certify the package on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Citrix Platforms; Evaluate the application using Microsoft Compatibility Tool for Windows 7; Check package conflicts through conflict wizards; Stage and deploy the package in TPM; Third level support to user on trouble shooting the application on production environments and provide the fix; Update weekly reports (completed, packages with issues and additional achievement apart from packaging) to immediate Leads; Prepare a process document which includes the daily status reports, monthly reports and taking part in the monthly audits and Project Management reviews; Develop the automation tool for team to reduce manual work using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.
