Madhya Pradesh: Implementation of the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojna, often known as the “Chief Minister’s Learn-Earn” scheme, began today in Madhya Pradesh. The programme has made it possible to receive on-the-job training along the lines of learn and earn while also developing skills.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, will launch the programme by giving out contract letters to young people. One lakh young people are expected to participate in the first phase of the “Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao” scheme, according to the state government. However, thus far, more than 8 lakh 69 thousand young people have registered. Additionally, 16 040 establishments in total have been registered. For the registered youngsters, these establishments have posted almost 69 thousand items. Contracts have also been signed for more than 14000 positions out of them.

The ‘Mukhyamantri Sikho-Kamao’ scheme has been launched for young people between the ages of 18 and 29. As part of the programme, the chosen youngsters would receive training tailored to the needs of the industries as well as a stipend of between 8,000 and 10,000 rupees.
