Senior Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity opened up for the role of Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager in our Human Capital practice.

Senior Human Capital Consultants work in a client facing role and take on the responsibility of advising clients on talent and organization development challenges. They assist clients in addressing risks related to talent and building organizations aligned to business strategy. They work in teams to provide high-quality execution of HR transformation projects for clients across a wide range of industries. Typical projects comprise of identifying and designing organizational levels of responsibility, designing competency frameworks, developing organization structures and conducting reviews of systems, processes and policies.

Senior human capital consultants demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge by staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business. They establish deep relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client’s perspective and become the de-facto go-to-person. Their work output is expected to be of outstanding quality. They constantly monitor project progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

Senior human capital consultants also participate in sales and support business development initiatives. In addition, they get opportunities to perform research and contribute to the development of thought leadership. If assigned, they are expected to coach, train and support junior members in the team. Senior Consultants / AM in Human Capital practice will get opportunities to work on International Assignments across Middle East.

Role Requirements

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:-

  • Work with senior management personnel to design solutions that address Talent Management challenges. Performance Evaluation, Reward Structures, Succession and Career planning within an organization
  • Design competency frameworks
  • Develop organization structures and role descriptions. Undertake job evaluation to design bands and levels.
  • Develop HR policies, processes and conduct HR function audits

Desired Profile
– Preferably 6+ years experience in HR consulting, advisory, professional services and/or OD roles in industry. Preferably with a background in a leading audit-advisory-consulting firm or an HR project-based organization of international repute.
– MBA (from a top tier business school) with an engineering background preferred. A good mix of education and experience will be useful.
– Strong analytical skills to undertake secondary research, gather market intelligence related to assigned projects and make sound recommendations backed by research outcomes
– Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills. Excellent delivery skills and domain/technical knowledge.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications. Ability to utilize process analysis tools to develop process maps (E.g. Visio and other related tools).
– Demonstrates creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems.
– Able to maintain a professional demeanor in times of high stress. Works well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
– Able to multi-task and regular travel across Middle East to meet client needs.
