New Delhi: Amit Shah the Union Minister of Home and Cooperation, stated that the Prime Minister’s SVANidhi Yojana has encouraged self-employment and subsequently self-reliance among the populace. One crore applications for the SVANidhi Yojana have been received in Gujarat thus far; of these, 76 lakh people have received loans, with women making up roughly 45% of the contributions. He was speaking to the beneficiaries of the PM Swanidhi Yojana, who were street vendors and their families, as part of an Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation programme.

He stated that under the Swanidhi Yojana, the Prime Minister has arranged for small hawkers to receive loans without any kind of security. Mr. Shah mentioned Corona, saying that during that time everyone was worried about what would happen to India, but the Prime Minister gave an example of how imposing discipline on society can lead to self-discipline. We were all proud of India for producing the world’s first vaccination. According to him, the prime minister made use of technology to guarantee that every man received the vaccination.
