New Delhi: The 55th Course NCC Special Entry Scheme announcement has been published by the Indian Army for both male and female applicants. The deadline for applications is August 3. The candidate must be at least 19 years old and not older than 25. Candidates must have been born between January 2, 1999, and January 1, 2005.
Male vacancies total 50 (45 for the General Category and 5 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army troops alone), whereas female vacancies total 5 (04 for the General Category and 1 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army personnel exclusively).
Candidates must possess a degree from an accredited university, or an equivalent, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. Candidates who are in their final year of study may also apply if they received at least 50% of their total marks in the first two/three/four years of their particular degree programme. If they are chosen for an interview, students must receive a minimum total aggregate grade in the degree course of 50%. Cancellation will occur if a 50% aggregate is not obtained.
