Narendra Modi inaugurates and places the cornerstone for development projects valued at over 30,500 crore rupees.

A number of development projects totaling more than 30,500 crore rupees were officially opened and sunk by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister of India launched the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari – Nhava Sheva Atal Setu in Mumbai, with the objective of enhancing urban transit infrastructure to facilitate easier movement. Atal Setu, the nation’s longest sea bridge, was constructed at a cost of 17,840 crore rupees.

The prime minister officially opened, dedicated to the country, and placed the cornerstone for a number of public development projects in Navi Mumbai totaling over 12,700 crore rupees. In an effort to shorten the distance between Orange Gate and Marine Drive on the Eastern Motorway, the prime minister lay the groundwork for an underground road tunnel.

The Prime Minister also officially opened the second part of the Uran-Kharkopar railway line, the first phase of the Surya regional bulk drinking water project, and the new suburban station “Digha Gaon” on the Trans-Harbour line. Additionally, in the SEEPZ Special Economic Zone in Santacruz, the Prime Minister launched “Bharat Ratnam,” a Mega Common Facilitation Centre for the Gem and Jewellery sector. The Prime Minister also launched the Namo Mahila Shashaktikaran Abhiyaan of the State government.
