Bhopal: In order to make India an independent, developed country, President Droupadi Murmu has stated that women’s empowerment is crucial. In his speech to a gathering of women’s self-help groups in Bhopal, the President emphasised the need to foster a climate where women can feel liberated and unafraid and can reach their full potential.

She asked women to support one another, lift up one another’s voices in support of one another’s rights, and advance together down the path of progress. The progress of the country’s women, according to President Murmu, is essential to its overall development. She expressed certainty that India would become a developed country in the near future because to the contributions of women.

President Murmu expressed satisfaction that women are becoming more literate in rural areas. She said that as our sisters and daughters progress toward securing their own means of subsistence and establishing economic independence, it will raise the standard of living for rural households.
