Mariya Ahmed Didi, Honourable Defence Minister of Maldives along with a delegation is on a six days official visit to Kochi and Kannur. The delegation arrived Kochi on 23 Nov 21 and was received by Rear Admiral TVN PRASANNA, VSM, Chief Staff Officer (Training), Southern Naval Command at Cochin International Airport.Vice Admiral AK Chawla, PVSM, AVASM, NM, VSM, ADC Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, called on the Defence Minister, Maldives at Headquarters Southern Naval Command on 24 Nov 21.
After the call on, the Honourable Defence Minister interacted with Maldivian trainees undergoing training at Southern Naval Command. Defence Minister, Maldives will be departing for INA where the Defence Minister would be the Chief Guest for the Passing Out Parade of Officer cadets of the Indian Navy at Indian Naval Academy on 27 Nov 21. A total of 233 officers (includes international trainees) will be passing out from INA on 27 Nov 21. The delegation will be departing for Maldives on 28 Nov 21.
