E-Bus Services for Jammu Smart City are virtually launched by Home Minister Amit Shah from New Delhi.

Union Minister of Home and Cooperation Amit Shah today launched the virtual E-Bus Services for Jammu Smart City on the eve of the 75th Republic Day. According to the Akashvani Jammu Correspondent, the Home Minister also released 885 sympathetic appointment letters to ensure the families of martyrs and diligent workers live a life of dignity and gave appointment letters to 209 J&K candidates chosen through Combined Competitive Exams.

The Home Minister gave the UT residents 100 e-Buses, which will revolutionize smart mobility in Jammu City and surrounding areas and enhance the standard of living for locals. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha thanked the Home Minister for placing the utmost emphasis on J&K’s entire development. He promised the UT residents that the procedure of the remaining cases’ compassionate appointments would be expedited. At the event, the LG emphasized the UT Administration’s efforts to empower all societal segments, particularly J&K’s youth, on a socioeconomic basis.

The Lieutenant Governor stated that the UT Administration is working hard to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the people of J&K, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He continued by saying that it is our mission to dry every tear from every eye and guarantee that every family has a prosperous and happy life. The LG went on to say that 94,680 young people were given the opportunity to pursue self-employment and entrepreneurship on January 24 in a single day, writing a beautiful chapter in J&K’s history. Through open and merit-based recruitment, J&K’s gifted kids are now able to take control of their own fate. The LG went on to say that after August 2019, 31,830 appointments had been made and 12,264 positions were being filled.
