New Delhi: President urges technical institutions to prepare for ongoing technological change According to President Droupadi Murmu, given the rapid changes brought on by the technological revolution, it is crucial that the nation’s technical institutions become “future-ready.”

Speaking today at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra’s 18th convocation, the President noted that the entire globe is presently experiencing a period of fast transformation. The nature of work and peoples’ fundamental needs are altering as a result of the technological revolution.

She claimed that these modifications are also testing the limits of current engineering practises. The President said that while it is becoming increasingly common for compensation packages to be used as a measure of academic accomplishment, this does not always imply that students who do not receive a strong salary package are less qualified. She counselled pupils not to evaluate their achievement based on the total package. They shouldn’t be constrained by cultural constraints and conventional ideas of success.
