Droupadi Murmu attends Guru Ghasidas Central University’s 10th convocation ceremony.

Bilaspur: During her two-day visit to Chhattisgarh, President Droupadi Murmu attended the 10th convocation ceremony of the Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur. Speaking at the event, the President claimed that only by upholding the principles of equality could young people find happiness and create a better world. Our nation, she claimed, is in “Amrit Kaal,” and if the young people uphold the fundamental obligations outlined in the Constitution, global progress will undoubtedly accelerate.

The institution awarded 76 students gold medals and 28 research scholars PhD degrees during the event. Additionally, at the ceremony, about 3000 students received graduate and postgraduate degrees.

The President prayed earlier today at the well-known Mahamaya temple in the ancient city of Ratanpur, where he expressed his wishes for the countrymen’s happiness, prosperity, and advancement. The President will meet with tribal people that are specifically protected today evening at Raj Bhavan in Raipur before travelling back to Delhi.
