Roles and Responsibilities
1. Conceptualization of System Architecture, Design and Optimization.2. Knowledge of Instrument and Control Systems Design basis and Engineering, Installation and Operational Practices for Instrument Equipment that are to be used in these locations.3. Carrying out or reviewing Instrument sizing calculations & specification and Datasheets.4. Participation in PFD and P&IDs development, Cause and Effect Preparation/Review.5. Understand and Utilization of Communication Protocols and their Design for various sub-systems interface.6. Knowledge on Testing and Commissioning that are to be carried out for all Instrument and Control Systems equipment.7. Has knowledge of Instrument and Control Systems QA / QC Packs & Final Hand Over Packages8. Assist in Technology Selection, Vendor Selection & Screening.
Desired Candidate Profile
It is desired that the candidate possesses job knowledge to carry out the following:a. Generate Scope of Work for Contracts (Special Conditions of Contracts)b. Generate / Review Instrumentation Specifications and Datasheetsc. Generate / Review RFQ Documents;d. Carry out Technical Bid Evaluations in accordance with project specifications and Codes and Standards;e. Carry out or participate in Pre Bid Meetings;f. Knowledge of Alarm Rationalization, Alarm Settings, Process Safety Time, Cyber Security and participation in HAZOP and SIL Study (preferred)g. Carry out Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test;h. Measurement and Bill Processing.i. Knowledge of Relevant Instrumentation and Control Systems Codes and Standards;j. Knowledge of Environmental Emissions Acts and Rules (preferable)Knowledge of Radioactive material handling and disposal regulations and rules (preferable)
