The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act was used by the central government to designate Gangster Goldy Brar as a terrorist. The Goldy, who is currently based in Brampton, Canada, is connected to Babbar Khalsa International. The Home Ministry stated on Monday that Goldy had been involved in several deaths, had called pro-nationalist politicians threateningly and demanded ransom, and had posted reports of killings on several social media sites. Goldy has also allegedly been involved in the smuggling of explosive materials, ammunition, and high-grade weapons. Through devious schemes like sabotage, the creation of terror modules, carrying out targeted killings, and other anti-national acts, Goldy and his allies have been planning to disturb the peace, communal harmony, and law and order in Punjab.
