We have Assistant Manager / Manager Role opened up in our Capital Projects & Construction practice.

The role at Protiviti is mission critical and requires multi-dimensional capabilities Business Development, Account Management and Practice Development.

Identify business opportunities within their immediate client’s business or across an industry. They are responsible for growing existing accounts and attracting new business. They develop a deep understanding of client’s business and build lasting relationships with client personnel. They demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry, understand client’s perspective and become the de-facto go-to-person.

They are responsible for developing business, serving clients and ensuring outstanding quality execution of projects. They develop contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. Basis their credibility, they are able to attract and retain the best of talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Responsibilities include relationship building, creating breakthroughs in UAE region.
  • Supervise a team of consultants across different client engagements. Plan, organize, direct and monitor project deliverables, including overall quality of deliverables, processes and completion of projects within budgeted timeline. Oversee billing and collections.
  • Manage performance of project, net worth, gross margins, manage receivables and timely collection.
  • Build new businesses in Government and public sector, Family owned businesses in the region.
  • Communicate the results of assignments through written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to client management.
  • Assist engagement director with identification for any new firm services at existing or new clients. Prepare & track proposals and conduct proposal meetings with clients. Responsible for developing and growing business and managing portfolio of clients.
  • Develop and engage team through individual contacts and group meetings. Assist with hiring, training, and evaluation of staff and take effective actions to address performance.
  • Support practice management including Work in progress monitoring, Proposal development and monitoring of performance against the business plan. Lay down processes for improvement as well as strengthen the practice in the region.
  • Represent the firm at various industry and professional forums.
  • Conduct learning sessions and develop knowledge sharing forums with other functions within the firm as well as with clients.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in related domain.

Desired Credentials

Strong academic credentials –

1. Minimum of Bachelor’s in engineering (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical)

2. MBA – Finance/ Operations or Master’s in Engineering/Construction

3. PMP Certified

  • Minimum 8 years of Consulting experience.
  • Experience of working for at least 3 – 5 years in Middle East.
  • Strong command of English, written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flair to identify talent to build his own team.
  • Excellent project management and client relationship skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • Strong Knowledge of Real Estate & Infrastructure Sector

  • Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs. Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments across ME. Second language skills and international business experience will be useful.
