New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah has emphasised the importance of coordinating efforts to address the problems brought on by terrorists’ use of the dark web and virtual currencies like cryptocurrencies. He continued by saying that terrorists utilise the dark web to disseminate extremist ideas and hide their identities. He was speaking at the “No Money for Terror” Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing in New Delhi during a session on “Global Trends in Terrorist Financing and Terrorism.

” Mr. Shah stated that in order to address these Dark Net operations, it is important to comprehend their patterns. Protecting a terrorist, according to the home minister, is the same as encouraging terrorism. Some nations, he claimed, make an effort to harbour and defend terrorists. According to Mr. Shah, certain nations aim to weaken or even disrupt the global commitment to combating terrorism. According to him, terrorists’ safe havens or resources should never be disregarded, and the double-talk of those who sponsor and support them must be made public.

India has implemented a number of measures, according to the minister, to limit the sources of funding for terrorism. Mr. Shah emphasised that thanks to ongoing efforts, the number of terrorist occurrences in the nation over the past few years has fallen dramatically.
