All 37 of India’s CSIR Labs will become Global Centers of Research and Innovation: Dr. Jitendra Singh

New Delhi : The Science, Technology, and Innovation eco-system in India is reaching new heights daily, according to Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh.

All 37 of India’s CSIR Labs, according to him, will become global centres for research and innovation in their respective sectors. Speaking during the “One Week One Lab” campaign’s New Delhi launch, the Minister. The country’s 37 Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Labs are each devoted to a separate, specialised field of study.

The “One Week, One Lab” programme will give these CSIR Labs the chance to highlight their work so that others might benefit from it. It will highlight each lab’s history, unique innovations, and technical advancements. Each CSIR lab will host events lasting a week during the campaign, such as a meet-up for businesses and start-ups, a social gathering for students, and a technology exhibition.
