Singapore: The celebration of ASEAN and India’s 30 years of partnership has led to the designation of 2022 as the ASEAN-India Friendship Year. Throughout the year, a number of activities have been scheduled to commemorate the occasion. From November 8 to November 13, an Indian media delegation is travelling to Singapore and Cambodia as part of the ASEAN-INDIA Media Exchange Program.

The delegation’s first stop was at the Singapore-India Chambers of Commerce and Industries (SICCI), where they had a discussion about the relationship between India and Singapore, with a focus on business-friendly policies and the expectations of the Singaporean business community of India.

The delegation also spoke with Mr. P. Kumaran, the Indian High Commissioner to Singapore, and gained a thorough knowledge of how the strategic cooperation between India and Singapore has shown to be resilient and how both countries hope to further solidify this crucial relationship.
