Vote counting for the upcoming assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh will be discussed tomorrow.

New Delhi:Tomorrow is when the ballots for the assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh will be counted. It’ll get underway at 8 AM. Tomorrow will also be dedicated to counting the votes from the byelections for the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat and six assembly districts in five states. They are Rampur and Khatauli in Uttar Pradesh, Padampur in Odisha, Sardarshahar in Rajasthan, Kurhani in Bihar, and Bhanupratappur in Chhattisgarh.

To ensure a smooth and peaceful counting process, the Election Commission has put in place complex arrangements. In Gujarat, there will be 37 counting locations for the 182 Assembly seats. Surat and Anand districts each have two counting centres, whereas Ahmedabad district has a maximum of three counting centres.

Tomorrow will see the counting of ballots for the assembly elections in Gujarat. Paper postal ballots and EVMs will both be counted at the same time. The surrounding area of the counting centres has been well secured.
