New Delhi: At the four-day conference, participants from 109 nations will discuss how solar energy promotion may help create a low-carbon economy. The International Solar Alliance’s highest decision-making body, the Assembly, decides how to put its Framework Agreement into practise. Annually, the Assembly convenes at the ISA’s headquarters at the ministerial level.

Ajay Mathur, director general of ISA, discussed with AIR the objectives and focal areas of the international meeting. He claimed that simplifying investments in the solar sector in nations where they are now not flowing is one of the meeting’s main topics of concentration. He stated that the assembly would also discuss establishing a Risk Mitigation Facility with a Payment Guarantee Mechanism for solar projects.
