New Delhi: Youth in the nation are becoming as early adopters and pioneers of new technology, according to Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur. The Minister was addressing today in New Delhi at the Akashwani Rang Bhawan curtain-raiser event for the Y20 India summit. On this occasion, Mr. Thakur unveiled the Y20 summit’s themes, logo, and website. The G20’s official youth involvement group is called Youth 20 (Y20). It offers a forum for young people to share their thoughts on the G20 priorities.
The Minister addressed the crowd and referred to India as a country of software and spirituality. He claimed that the nation’s youth are promoting the start-up culture and offering practical solutions to socioeconomic issues. He referred to Gen Z as the future of the global economy and mankind, and he urged them to take advantage of India’s G20 chairmanship by networking and sharing their visions and ideas with the G20 leaders.
The Minister praised the youth for their commitment to boosting the nation’s economy as India rose to the fifth-largest economy in the world last year. He claimed that while the rest of the world was battling COVID-19, Indian youngsters had reached the landmark of 50 unicorns.
