Assam: Assam is now hosting the national outreach programme, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which aims to educate and empower people about the major programmes of the central government. Attending the programmes are the Chief Minister, State and Union Ministers, MPs, and MLAs.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is effectively taking place throughout Assam’s rural and urban districts. Through this Yatra, the Indian government’s hallmark programmes, such as on-the-spot services that cater to the urgent needs of the community, are being made more widely known. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister, participated in multiple Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programmes.

Regular attendees of the programmes include prominent government officials, MLAs, MPs, ministers from the Assam government, and union ministers. As a component of this Yatra, the beneficiaries’ “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” experience-sharing sessions are positively influencing others. Guwahati resident Taun Das talked about how the PM SVANidhi project helped him.
