Uttarakhand: The relief and rescue efforts in Joshimath’s areas of ground subsidence have been stepped up by the Uttarakhand District Administration. Ajay Bhatt, the Union Minister of State for Defense and Tourism, visited the disaster-hit areas on Tuesday and spoke with the affected citizens. According to Ajay Bhatt, the impacted people are receiving assistance in every form from the federal and state governments.

He stated that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is keeping an eye on every arrangement and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi keeps himself informed of any new developments about the Joshimath calamity. According to him, the government’s top goal is to relocate those whose homes were damaged to safe areas in order to prevent any fatalities.

The fact that the affected people had to leave their houses, according to him, was upsetting. According to Mr. Bhatt, Central Building Research Institute is helping to demolish the structures and hotels (CBRI).
