New Delhi: The creation of futuristic capabilities is still a top priority for naval commanders, according to Rajnath Singh, the Minister of Defence, in order to successfully address new marine problems. On the final day of the biannual Naval Commanders’ Conference in New Delhi, the Union Minister made this remark while speaking with senior Indian Navy officials.

Mr. Singh observed a tech demonstration on the sidelines of the Conference and thanked the Navy for its recent efforts to innovate and promote indigenization. The Navy was praised by the defence minister for maintaining a high operational pace in support of safe seas for the sake of prosperity and national security. He commended the Navy for successfully commissioning INS Vikrant, India’s first aircraft carrier of homegrown design.

In his speech, General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff, reaffirmed the importance of operational readiness and further integrating the Armed Forces in order to jointly meet India’s national security requirements. The conference’s four days gave naval commanders the chance to reflect on crucial maritime issues from a military strategic perspective.
