Hubballi: Hubballi and Dharwad, twin cities in Karnataka, will host the 26th National Youth Festival from January 12 to January 16. The theme of this year’s Youth Festival is “Vikasit Yuva, Vikasit Bharat,” according to Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, who was speaking to the media in New Delhi.

On 12 January, to coincide with Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially launch the National Youth Festival-2023, he said. According to Mr. Thakur, this event will likely draw more than 7,500 young delegates from throughout the nation. According to Mr. Thakur, the festival would include old-fashioned activities like Yogasana, Thangta, Gatka, and Kalaripayatu.

He said that a Yuva Kriti social development fair and cuisine festival would be held to give young craftsmen a chance to display their works of art. The G-20 presidency is a fantastic opportunity for India, according to the Minister. Youth lectures will be organised nationwide in colleges and universities, according to Mr. Thakur, as part of this initiative. Discussions will also cover national education policy, climate change, water, and energy challenges.
